The book to challenge the global fashion industry.
Collective Fashion Justice is a non-profit organization dedicated to creating a total fashion ethics system, prioritizing the life and wellbeing of people, our fellow animals, and the planet before profit.
Based out of Melbourne, Australia, Collective Fashion Justice is lobbying for a better fashion industry worldwide.
Very Good Looking was invited to collaborate with founder Emma Hakansson for her book on the underlying principal of her organization’s work. Central to the task was a strategic approach to the book design, as it was important to make condensed information accessible, while creating a beautiful object that speaks to the target audience of people in fashion.
In addition to the design work, Very Good Looking also supported with production and supplier-handling.
“One of the four best fashion books for 2023.”
Financial Times
“The work of Collective Fashion Justice deeply connects to our studio’s core values. We specialize in making change aspirational, and I think we succeeded with this book.”
Eric Mirbach (Very Good Looking, Managing Director)
“In the midst of a global environmental crisis interwoven with serious ethical conundrums, it’s time for fashion to look more holistically at both its problems and its solutions.”

“Working with Very Good Looking means knowing our important work is in good hands.
The team is lovely to work with, they’re efficient and clever people.
We’ll continue working with them in the future, no doubt.”
